The Lagos/Ogun Multi-Sector International Trade Fair 2025 team is made up of seasoned profesionals in various fields.

Muyiwa Akitunde

He has been a public relations consultant since April 2004 when he started as Group Head, Media Services at a frontline Nigerian PR firm, C&F Porter Novelli.

He was also Executive Director at another PR consultancy, MarketingMix & Company, before setting up his own firm, Leap Communications. He also worked as a full-time, and later, part-time consultant for HS Media Group, which engages in TV production, sports marketing and allied activities. For HS Media Group, Muyiwa headed the sponsorship drive for the National Sports Festival, hosted by Lagos State; and that of Simba Group for sponsorship of the Super Eagles.

For five years between 1999 and 2004, he was West Africa editor of the monthly newsmagazine, Africa Today, published in the UK.

Previously, he was Bureau Chief at The Guardian newspapers, Associate Editor at Newswatch magazine, Deputy Editor of Theweek magazine and Editor of The Post Express on Sunday.

He is the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of an online news publication, Breezy NewsNG

Olajide Ige

Journalist, Media Relations expert and Graphics Artist, Jide has had 32 years experience in the Nigerian media, spanning journalism, media relations and marketing.

He began his journalism career at The Nigerian Tribune in Ibadan in 1992 and later at The Guardian Newspapers’ owned Guardian Express and had a brief stint at TELL Magazine in those combative days of military rule before moving to the Nigerian Institute of Journalism as a lecturer in Media Technology.

In 1999, he returned to active media practice to set up his private company, Media Ace, as a publishing, media relations and marketing consultancy outfit.

On his portfolio were Fame magazine, CityPeople and several others and worked with the crew of Africa’s most authoritative telecommunications’ magazine, IT&Telecom Digest, organizers of W.Afri.Tel, a 5-day ICT and telecommunication exhibition for West Africa and WAFICT Congress, a conference on telecommunication development in West Africa.

Adeola Amusat

A seasoned, dynamic and result oriented Marketing Communications & Management executive with extensive experience in Marketing Strategy, Media buying, Communication consulting and Agency Advertising in over 30 years.

His career span has given him valuable exposure in all spheres of communications, with an innate ability to deliver projects and assignments within set time-frames and with minimal supervision.

He has a keen interest in the ever changing corporate market environment as his area of core expertise.

Adeola likes to continue working with brands that appreciate strategic and creative thinking along with strong client orientation skills

Mike Ogor

A well-rounded advertising & marketing professional with keyexperiences across all brand marketing, innovations/new product development, integrated marketing communications, consumer &retail/channel activations, PR/Media and digital marketing in Key industries (Advertising, FMCG, Telecommunications). He has worked in

Lowe Lintas Advertising, SC Johnson, Godreg Nigeria, Spectranet Limited, International Lottery and Gaming Limited.

In the course of his career, Mike has managed both local & global brands: Zenith bank, Close-Up, Omo, Pears Range, Key Soap, Raid & Baygon Insecticides, Mr Muscle, Tura Soap, Good Knight Insecticide, Spectranet and others.

Mike is a Member of Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria and National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria.

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Care Premium Solution Limited.

Adeleke Olagbami

A Journalist of over 30 years experience. He has experience in both the print and electronic media. He is currently into Media Consultancy and also a Project Director for a multi-sectoral business and management consultancy outfit based in Lagos.

Lanre Owoeye

A Chartered Accountant with over two decades’ working experience in FMCG and

financial services industry. He started his career in Seven-Up Bottling Company, Ijora, Lagos and later joined GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria PLC, Agbara ,Ogun State. He is currently into private practice.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

Mosunmola Omokunga,

She is a writer, social analyst, public speaker and commentator, is on the editorial board of National Infinity Magazine as a guest columnist.

She started as a journalist, with the defunct Spectator Newspapers, a sister paper of

The Sun Newspapers and has been a consultant for The Sun Newspapers since 2009.

She has been the coordinator of the Lagos chapter of FLED institute, an organisations established to groom transformational leaders since 2023 and also the founder of PELM institute, an organisation that educates people on politics, entreprenuership, leadership and mindset.

Olagoke Abayomi-Ige

A graduate of Management Science ( Accounting) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State with 9 years experience as a Media Buyer, Planner,

Trading and Investment Specialist, also a Procurement and Purchasing Manager with comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in the media and advertising industry, I have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results for my clients.

He has previously functioned as the Senior Manager for HotSports Nigeria Limited where he led a hybrid of projects to drive business growth for major brands across Nigeria.

Currently, he is the CEO of HighPoint Solutions Network.
